Nisa (निशा) means night in Sanskrit, and the surface carries the same depth: a darkened body that holds the quiet of a night sky, with a soft grey-blue band along the rim, the shade of midnight itself. Wheel-thrown in Pondicherry, finished in a food-safe, lead-free glaze, and wood fired two times at 1260°C. The flame moves differently in each firing, so the band sits a little differently on every mug.
