Silvat (सिलवट), Hindi for a crease in cloth, is the name of the plates these bowls were made to sit beside. Fired at 1180°C and finished in the same matte glaze, with fine speckles that settle differently on every piece.
Color: Dune Olive
Material: Stoneware
Dimensions: Diameter: 10 cm (4"), Height: 5 cm (2")
Finish: Matte with fine speckles
Suited for: A side beside the main plate, a small dessert, or dips on the evenings you host.
How does the surface feel?
The matte glaze is soft and dry under your fingertips. The speckles sit within the glaze, so you see them before you feel them. The bowls stack one inside the next when the table is cleared.
