Sthir (स्थिर), derived from Sanskrit for balance, and you feel it in how the tumblers stack neatly on a shelf. Wheel thrown in Pondicherry, and wood fired three times at 1160°C that seals the lead-free glaze and makes it food safe. The flame in the kiln leaves warmer tones along the ridges and fine speckles across the body.
